“Spectrum Sisters was recommended to me after my two young daughters were struggling in different ways in certain areas, but were receiving no support as many professionals were writing them off as not neurodiverse due to them not having typical traits. School and homelife was becoming very stressful and we were at a loss as to how and help them. Chay and the team were so patient and understanding with us, explained how girls present so differently, and we got far more than a diagnosis from them. The process was long and in depth, but we were grateful for that, because their reports were very detailed, highly individualised, and gave us specific details of their strengths and areas of struggle, but also a heap of recommendations moving forward that we could easily use to gain support and funding for them. The best part of it though was how they helped us to change our mindset as see that our daughters weren’t broken and didn’t need fixing - they didn’t have ‘bad behaviour’ and that neurodiversity is not a disorder! Through their support we could see that what our daughters needed was the right scaffolding in order for them to thrive, and as a parent that is all you want afterall - for them to be happy.”

“A highly professional and authentically inclusive organisation. I approached Spectrum Sisters for an autism assessment. As a 50 year old woman who already has a diagnosis of ADHD, I wanted to find someone who would be able to carry out the assessment with an understanding of ADHD and menopause symptoms. Spectrum Sisters were fantastic. The final report was written in such a neuro-affirming way and really helped me to better understand myself. I would highly recommend them.”
- Beth Sennet
“I can wholeheartedly recommend Spectrum Sisters and their services. Since it turned out to be quite impossible to get an Autism assessment as an adult here in Germany, with wait lists closed for years, my search for a certified health care provider offering remote assessments lead me to Chay Thompson and her colleagues. Their focus on high-masking, female presentations of Autism and ADHD was the deciding factor for me. Throughout the whole assessment process I felt very well taken care of - be it by the clear, consistent and considerate communication via email as well as during the actual assessment interviews. Opening up about lifelong struggles is an immensely vulnerable thing to do, and both Chay and Dr. Priscila have a lovely way of making you feel safe and seen, never judged and pathologized. Their neurodiversity-affirming attitude was tangible throughout and also clearly discernible in the very comprehensive and detailed assessment report. Thank you again for turning what could otherwise haven been a traumatising process into a healing experience!”
- Sandra Dettmer
“I initially came across Spectrum Sisters on a search for support after an ADHD diagnosis from a Right to Chose referral. I was looking for some additional support and answers after the only support I was offered from RTC was medications. I immediately felt connected to them - as neurodiverse female professionals and their specific approach and understanding of neurodiversity from this perspective. Not only was their website a refreshing change from the endless soulless ADHD and autism diagnostic/assessment services, the response I got from Chay and the team helped me feel heard and validated. I didn’t go in with the plan to get an assessment and didn’t feel that I needed any diagnosis. I just wanted support. This is exactly what I received and more. From the outset the whole experience with Chay and Priscilla has not only helped me understand myself, my relationships with others and the world but has guided me onto a path of finally being able to approach the life I have created as myself without the masks. I finally feel like I’m not alone after years of feeling disconnected, misunderstood and separated from the rest of the world. I highly recommend Spectrum Sisters.”

“I wasn’t in a great place when I was first introduced to Chay. I had struggled at school for many years, knowing that I was different, but not knowing why I was different. I’d gone to university and had been away from home for a few years. Eventually, I hit burnout, leading to both me taking a few months out of my studies and getting an autism diagnosis. So when it came to going back to studying, I was apprehensive, worried I would just crash again. I was put in contact with Chay as my mentor. Chay really helped me through all this time. She really helped me to get to grips of my autism diagnosis, to understand myself more and she just encouraged me along the way - she’s gone way beyond what was required from her. It was amazing to have her working with me - she restored my belief in myself and made it so much easier going back to university!”

“A safe space for women and girls in the autistic community is a rare thing. At Spectrum Sisters, that’s exactly what they provide. A bespoke assessment, regardless of your background, that takes a holistic view of what it means to be autistic. The team are understanding, supportive, and have lived experience of the difficulties they are assessing for. Perhaps the biggest relief is to know you’re not alone. If you’re looking for an assessment, I can’t recommend these women enough.”
- Victoria Goodman
“I had a positive experience with my Neurodivergent assessments with The Spectrum Sisters. There was support to guide me through the process and professionals on hand via email to answer my many questions and queries. The assessments and interviews were both thorough and comprehensive in nature and style. I am happy to recommend The Spectrum Sisters to others.”

“I really recommend Spectrum Sisters, as a female affirming diagnostic assessment for Autism/ADHD. It provided a very quick service, rather than waiting years for a diagnosis. Everyone was really kind and patient and professional. They helped me a great deal, and am very grateful for all their support!”

“I am writing this review to express my gratitude for the support that was shown to my daughter over the past year by Chaley and her team at Spectrum Sisters. During some very challenging and difficult times with my daughter I approached Spectrum Sisters for help. From our first contact with Chaley her approach was kind, caring and professional, this was extremely important as my daughter felt she could be herself and express herself without fear of judgement. Over the past year Chaley has given constant support and identified the most appropriate treatment plan for my daughter, without it being too overwhelming for her. The ADHD and Autism assessment was such an important step in understanding my daughter, not just for herself but for us as a family. Thanks to Spectrum Sisters expertise and compassion we were able to get the right services and support in place that has significantly improved my daughters wellbeing. As a parent it has meant so much to see someone advocate for my daughter and believe in her when she needed it the most. I would highly recommend Chaley and her team at Spectrum Sisters as they have made an incredible and positive difference in how my daughter now manages her daily life.”
- Sarah Thompson
“The experience using Spectrum Sisters has been outstanding from first contact. As someone who has extensive negative experiences of mental health, psychiatry and psychology services, as well as suspecting I was very high-masking, I was very anxious about the assessment process. When I discovered the Spectrum Sisters’ website, I suspected I might have found the right place to have a different, more validating experience, and I was proved right. My initial questions were quickly and comprehensively responded to by Chay. I then felt confident enough to start the assessment process. Everything happened quite quickly, which was lovely. Each clinician I met with conveyed a real sense of wanting to understand my experience, but most of all I felt like they all trusted and believed in my account. The report was detailed and comprehensive. However, more importantly, it was validating and empowering. It felt very different to have professionals provide resources and guidance tailored to me. Perhaps, it’s a failing of other services that it felt so unique to be trusted to learn even more about yourself. Overall, I can’t recommend Spectrum Sisters enough. Their approach is robust, clinically comprehensive and evidence-based, while remaining kind, validating and empowering.”
